WHO AM I?

  • Tanmay Rastogi (TR) is a Toronto-based lifestyle photographer with over 3 years of experience. First inspired by travel photography during the summer 2017 in India, I discovered my thirst to travel and capture my journey. Since then I have travelled around the world building a perspective and style that is unique to me. 

  • Photography is not my full-time job, although the dream is still there.

  • I am a warm and friendly person by nature. I am open about my experiences and that allows me to develop a personal connection with my clients very quickly. This leads to a very genuine shoot with nothing but real smiles.

STYLISTIC TENDENCIES

  • You will notice that I enjoy shooting at ultra-wide focal lengths. That is because I want to place the subject in the environment. We are a product of our environment and I am ruthless in accomplishing that vision across my work. It also forces me to experiment with perspectives and angles, often yielding positive results.

  • I defy the trend of having a uniform editing style across my work. My editing style and colour palette adapts to the subject, the location and the conditions of the environment (i.e. lighting, time of day). That being said, I enjoy playing with contrast, and muted tones.
